The Kadambari Centre of Research, Development and Innovation (KCRDI) is a dedicated academic hub at Kadambari Memorial College committed to nurturing a culture of inquiry, creativity, and social impact.
The Centre strengthens the research capacity of students and faculty, promotes continuous academic development, and fosters innovative ideas that contribute to just and resilient communities.

KCRDI's mission is driven by three interconnected pillars that form the foundation of our work:

KCRDI serves as a vibrant platform for students and faculty members to explore, design, and conduct meaningful social work research. We strive to elevate the quality and visibility of social work research emerging from Nepal.
- Cultivating Research Minds: We nurture research-minded learners through specialized training, workshops, and mentorship programs.
- Global Collaboration: We collaborate with international universities and research institutes for joint studies, publications, and academic exchange.
- Student Support: We provide dedicated support for dissertation supervision and research skill development for BSW and MSW students.
- Dissemination: We encourage student and faculty participation in national and international conferences to share their findings.
2. 📚 Academic & Community Development
Continuous academic development and practical exposure are core values at Kadambari. KCRDI leads this effort by connecting classroom learning with real-world impact.
- Professional Development: We offer professional development trainings that go beyond traditional classroom learning.
- College with Community (CWC): This unique platform allows students to test ideas through mini-projects, engagements, and events with local communities.
- Field Action Projects: We provide opportunities to participate in diverse field action projects through strategic partnerships with NGOs and community organizations.
- Curriculum Enhancement: We organize dialogues with national and international scholars and provide technical support to the Social Work Curriculum Committee for program revisions.

Innovation & Business Development
Fostering entrepreneurial mindsets and supporting students to transform innovative ideas into viable social enterprises. We provide mentorship, resources, and networking opportunities for aspiring social entrepreneurs.
