About Samanwaya

Samanwaya is the international conference and social work students' meet organized by the Department of Social Work, BCM College, Kottayam, since 2003. The 22nd edition of Samanwaya is being organized by BCM College, Kottayam, and Kadambari Memorial College, Nepal, in association with the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, Kerala Association of Professional Social Workers (KAPS), India Network of Professional Social Workers Associations (INPSWA), Association of Schools of Social Work in Kerala (ASSK), and other organizations dedicated to the protection of children, on February 3 and 4 (offline) and February 5, 2025 (online) for paper presentations by participants outside Kerala.

Samanwaya, the annual event since 2003, signifying "the blend of all," is a platform that brings together social work students, educators, scholars, practitioners, and individuals from other streams across the nation and internationally, fostering meaningful discussions on issues related to the "Rights of Children."
