Active Sundays: Human Library with Dr. Madhavi Bhatta

Be Free from Fear, Fear comes in different facet, all the time in our life. Management of self in constrains and also in sufficiency is very important to bring balance in life.” Dr. Madhabi Bhatta Today, we listen to a life story of Dr. Madhabi Bhatta, honorary member of Truth and Reconciliation Commission Nepal. Her journey from a silent, obedient girl of Gorkha to a proactive commissioner of TRC was very inspiring and heartwarming. “Silence is strength and also a discipline; it can also be sometimes mistaken as weakness”. She beautifully narrated how she transformed herself from silent, obedient girl to active, rightly spoken and progressive adolescence and continues to speak what she believes. Her work in Kantipur Publication was full of challenges. We were amazed to see how she took the challenges and transform this to opportunity. Hard work, dedication and confidence pull us towards success and achievement. Her marriage, PhD moments in Korea and United states were interesting and full of insights. She also talked about the dynamics of networking and the power of information in individual life. Kadambari Memorial College and Nepal College of Development Studies would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Madhabi Bhatta for her warm presence and her beautiful narratives of her living book. 19th Feb 2017
