Dr. Bala Raju Nikku

(Founding Director - NSSW) Dr. Raju is Founding Director of Nepal School of Social Work and currently Sr. Lecturer at Social Work Section, School of Social Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is the author of Politics, Policy and People and serves on the executive board of the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) and a former board member of Asian and Pacific Association of Social Work Education (APASWE). Dr.Nikku received his PhD from Wageningen University, the Netherlands in 2006. He currently serves as the member of the editorial advisory boards of International Journal of Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment, and Practice: Social Work in Action. Dr.Nikku's current research interests are: Leadership in Social Work education, Social Protection Floor Initiative, Politics of Policy Process. He can be reached out at /

Ms Pradipta Kadambari

(Founding Member/ Principal ) Ms Kadambari holds Master degree in International family studies and master in Science. She had been a visiting lecturer to MSc students for 11 years and has 10 years of experience in leading managing manufacturing and export industry. She has completed training as Technical Instructors Trainer Training-level-1 and Leadership and Management Training Course-2.She is team leader of Kadambari College community engagement program , college with community(CWC) and lead volunteerism and community engagement self enrichment program. She is the focal person in psychosocial support training of Kadambari College.She is also chief executive officer of NSSW.

Dil Kumar Thakuri

(Head of Academic) Mr. Thakuri is the Head of Academics of Kadambari College and is looking after the academic calender BSW and programs. He also teaches English and co-ordinate student research. He is an M.Phil in Education leadership from Kathmandu University, Master degree in English from Tribhuvan University and ESL from Canada. He has 15 years of experience in teaching and training students from school level to colleges level.He has been providing training in Servant Leadership and Flexible Learning in many places. He holds training in Teachers' training from University of Cambridge, UK and British Council. He has also published English book for primary level school students from Allied Publication, Nepal. He is a member of Nepal English Language Teachers' Association (NELTA) and also an ex-secretary of International Teachers' Association(ITA) , Nepal.He is very active in various social organisations. He is president of Poverty Elimination Assistant Nepal(PEAN) and advisory member of Save The Heart.

Ms Samjhana Bhetwal Oli

(Field work co ordinator/ Lecturer) Ms Oli is a full time faculty and field work co-ordinator and is a valuable member of Kadambari since last five years. She is the chair of National Network for Social welfare, Nepal. She is BSW graduate from ST.Xavier college and holds master in sociology from Tribhuvan Univeristy. She has been participating and presenting numbers of abstract papers on various social problem and issues. She can be reached at
